At Ironman, Inc., we try to stay on top of the plethora of technological advancements that make our industry flourish. With new programs and updates happening every day, we have a dedicated staff who stay on control and learn about all the technological advances in the steel industry.

One of those advances has been steel detailing software. Through the professional detailers Ironman, Inc. uses, we have used many detailing programs for our projects. The top three programs in no particular order are X-Steel, also known as Tekla and Tekla Structures; SDS-2 made by Design Data; and lastly Auto-Cad made by AutoDesk.

With integration into our fabrication and project management system, FabTrol, we are able to electronically integrate the data from drawings directly into our systems. We also use a third party software called SoftScan to scan non-informative files made using AutoCad and other systems.
